#Urgent: During the night, based on intelligence gathered in recent weeks, the 210th Division launched an operation to apprehend wanted members of the Islamic Group who operated in the village of Beit Jann in southern Syria and were planning terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens.

During the operation, terrorists opened fire on IDF forces, who returned fire, with air support provided to the forces in the area.

Two officers and a reservist were seriously wounded, another reservist sustained moderate injuries, and an officer and a reservist sustained minor injuries. All the wounded were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.

The operation was completed, all wanted individuals were apprehended, and a number of terrorists were neutralized.

IDF forces are deployed in the area and will continue to act against any threat to the State of Israel and its citizens.

‏⁧‫#عاجل‬⁩ خلال ساعات الليلة الماضية واستناذًا إلى معلومات استخباراتية جمعت خلال الأسابيع الأخيرة انطلقت قوات الفرقة 210، إلى عملية لاعتقال مطلوبين من تنظيم الجماعة الإسلامية الذين عملوا في قرية بيت جن جنوب سوريا ودفعوا بمخططات إرهابية ضد مواطني دولة إسرائيل.
‏خلال العملية أطلق مخربون النار باتجاه قوات جيش الدفاع التي ردّت باتجاههم إلى جانب اسناد جوي للقوات في المنطقة.
‏لقد أصيب ضابطان ومقاتل احتياط بجروح خطيرة، كما أصيب مقاتل احتياط آخر بجروح متوسطة، وضابط ومقاتل احتياط بجروح طفيفة. تم نقل المصابين لتلقي العلاج الطبي في المستشفى.
‏العملية انجزت بالكامل وتم اعتقال جميع المطلوبين والقضاء على عدد من الارهابيين.
‏قوات جيش الدفاع منتشرة في المنطقة، وستواصل العمل ضد أي تهديد يستهدف دولة إسرائيل ومواطنيها.
