The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced the arrest of a senior ISIS leader during a security operation in the Deir ez-Zor countryside.

In a statement, they said that, with the support of the Coalition forces, they conducted a special security operation in the town of al-Basira in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, resulting in the arrest of the top official responsible for distributing weapons and ammunition to ISIS cells in the area.
