The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced a successful security operation, supported by the international coalition, in the city of Tabqa, resulting in the arrest of Ahmed Abdul Qader al-Moussa, a prominent leader of ISIS cells.

According to the SDF media center, al-Moussa was responsible for distributing weapons and monitoring military positions. The SDF also stated that a quantity of weapons and hand grenades were seized from him.

أعلنت قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، عن تنفيذ عملية أمنية نوعية بدعم من التحالف الدولي، في مدينة الطبقة أسفرت عن اعتقال أحد أبرز متزعمي خلايا تنظيم "داعش" المدعو "أحمد عبد القادر الموسى".
وبحسب المركز الإعلامي لدى "قسد"، فإن الموسى كان مسؤولا عن توزيع الأسلحة ومراقبة النقاط العسكرية، مشيرة إلى أنها ضبطت بحوزته كمية من الأسلحة والقنابل اليدوية.
