The international coalition forces, in conjunction with the Free Syrian Army, conducted an airdrop operation in the Jabal al-Bishri area of Deir ez-Zor province, targeting a location where ISIS leadership was holed up.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the operation resulted in the deaths of several ISIS leaders and fighters. The operation involved direct clashes and concluded with the coalition forces seizing documents believed to pertain to the group's movements in the area.

نفذت قوات التحالف الدولي، بمشاركة "جيش سوريا الحرة"، عملية إنزال جوي في منطقة جبل البشري بريف دير الزور، استهدفت موقعا يتحصن فيه قيادة من تنظيم "داعش".
وبحسب المرصد السوري، فقد أسفرت العملية عن مقتل عدد من قادة وعناصر التنظيم، حيث شهدت اشتباكات مباشرة، انتهت باستحواذ القوات على وثائق يرجح أنها تتعلق بتحركات التنظيم في المنطقة.
