In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

"And do not consider those who were killed in the cause of God as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision." (Quran 3:169)

The Vice President of the Supreme Islamic Shiite Council, His Eminence Sheikh Ali al-Khatib, mourns to Muslims and the Lebanese people the loss of the esteemed scholar and jurist, Judge Sheikh Abdullah Muhammad Shaito, his son, Engineer Muhammad, and his daughter, Hajja Zahra, who were martyred in the brutal Zionist aggression. We ask God Almighty to envelop them in His vast mercy, to gather them with the prophets, messengers, saints, and righteous, and to grant their families and loved ones patience and solace. His Eminence added: With the martyrdom of Sheikh Abdullah Shaito, we have lost a dear brother and a virtuous scholar, distinguished by his excellence, knowledge, and piety. He was a model of the dedicated scholar who spent most of his life serving the faith, conveying its rulings, and spreading the Islamic creed. He adhered to justice and fairness in his work in the judiciary, striving to reconcile people, uphold the word of God, and serve his nation and community. He called to the path of God with wisdom and good counsel, possessing noble qualities and virtuous character in his interactions with people and in resolving their problems.

The martyrs will be laid to rest in the Radouf Cemetery (Ruwaiss) at 2:00 PM tomorrow, Tuesday, March 3, 2026.

To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

ينعى نائب رئيس المجلس الإسلامي الشيعي الاعلى سماحة العلامة الشيخ علي الخطيب الى المسلمين واللبنانيين فقيد العلم والعلماء فضيلة القاضي الشيخ عبدالله محمد شعيتو ونجله المهندس محمد وكريمته الحاجة زهراء الذين ارتقوا شهداء مظلومين في العدوان الصهيوني الغاشم ، نسأل الله تعالى ان يتغمدهم برحمته الواسعة ويحشرهم مع الانبياء والمرسلين والاولياء والصالحين ويلهم ذويهم ومحبيهم جميل الصبر والسلوان.
واضاف سماحته: نفتقد باستشهاد العلامة الشيخ عبد الله شعيتو اخا عزيزا وعالما فاضلا اتسم بالفضل والعلم والتقوى، فكان مثال العالم الرسالي الذي قضى معظم عمره في خدمة الدين وتبليغ أحكامه ونشر العقيدة الإسلامية، و تمسك بالعدل والإنصاف في عمله في القضاء ساعيا الى الاصلاح بين الناس واعلاء كلمة الله و خدمة الوطن والمجتمع ، داعيا الى سبيل الله بالحكمة والموعظة الحسنة يتحلى بالمناقب السامية والأخلاق الحميدة في تعاطيه مع الناس وحل مشاكلهم.
