#AlShorouk | Five Killed, Including International Aid Workers, in Israeli Bombing of Deir al-Balah

Five people, including aid workers, were killed and others wounded on Monday evening in an Israeli bombing of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces bombed a civilian vehicle on the coastal road west of Deir al-Balah, killing four aid workers. A child was also killed and 20 others wounded in an Israeli airstrike that targeted the Al-Bashir Mosque in the Al-Hakar area of Deir al-Balah, according to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA).

WAFA reported that the number of Palestinians killed in military operations on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has risen to 32,845, the majority of whom are children and women. An additional 75,392 have been wounded, while thousands remain missing, believed to be trapped under rubble or in the streets.

وأفادت مصادر محلية بأن قوات إسرائيلية قصفت مركبة مدنية على طريق البحر غرب مدينة دير البلح، ما أدى لاستشهاد أربعة من العاملين في منظمات دولية، فيما قتل طفل وأصيب 20 آخرون في غارة إسرائيلية استهدفت مسجد البشير في منطقة الحكر بدير البلح، بحسب وكالة الأنباء والمعلومات الفلسطينية (وفا).
وبحسب "وفا"، ارتفع عدد الشهداء الفلسطينيين جراء العمليات العسكرية على قطاع غزة منذ السابع من أكتوبر الماضي، إلى 32 ألفا و845 شخصا ، أغلبيتهم من الأطفال والنساء، إضافة إلى 75 ألفا و392 مصابا، فيما لا يزال آلاف المواطنين في عداد المفقودين تحت الأنقاض وفي الطرقات.
