To God belongs what He gives and to God belongs what He takes.
We received news of the martyrdom of the family of my cousin, Essam Ahmed Taj El-Din Shaath: his wife, Samira Shaath; his son Ahmed's wife and four children; and his son Mohammed's wife and three children. They were killed in a brutal attack on their home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza.
I ask God to accept their martyrdom, grant their son healing and patience, and grant their daughters, Nevin in Jeddah and Nibal currently in Cairo, patience and steadfastness. Amen. We also received news of the martyrdom of Mahmoud Ahmed Shaath and his wife, Lina Adnan Shaath, after their home in the Rafah area was targeted. May God grant you, our family, the Shaath family in Gaza, comfort. O God, accept them as martyrs with the prophets and the righteous in the Gardens of Bliss. How excellent a company they are!
