Internal security units in the Damascus Countryside Governorate, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate and in joint coordination with the International Coalition forces, conducted a precise and targeted security operation in the town of Hteita al-Turkman in the al-Maliha area. This operation was part of ongoing efforts to pursue terrorist cells and eliminate their sources of funding.

The operation resulted in the arrest of the leader of a terrorist cell affiliated with ISIS, following a meticulous surveillance and monitoring operation. Quantities of various weapons and ammunition were seized, along with documents proving his direct involvement in terrorist activities aimed at destabilizing security and stability in the region.

The seized items were secured according to legal procedures, and the detainee was transferred to the Counter-Terrorism Department for further investigation before being referred to the competent judicial authorities to face appropriate legal action.

نفذت وحدات الأمن الداخلي في محافظة ريف دمشق، بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة، وبالتنسيق المشترك مع قوات التحالف الدولي، عملية أمنية نوعية ومحكمة في بلدة حتيتة التركمان بمنطقة المليحة، وذلك في إطار الجهود المستمرة لملاحقة الخلايا الإرهابية وتجفيف منابعها.
وأسفرت العملية عن إلقاء القبض على متزعم خلية إرهابية تابعة لتنظيم داعش، بعد عملية رصد ومتابعة دقيقة، حيث جرى ضبط كميات من الأسلحة المتنوعة والذخائر المختلفة، إلى جانب وثائق ومستندات تثبت تورطه المباشر في أنشطة إرهابية تهدف إلى زعزعة الأمن والاستقرار في المنطقة.
وجرى تحريز المضبوطات وفق الأصول القانونية، فيما تم تحويل المقبوض عليه إلى إدارة مكافحة الإرهاب لاستكمال التحقيقات اللازمة، تمهيدًا لإحالته إلى القضاء المختص أصولاً، لاتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية الرادعة بحقه.
