According to the Ministry of Interior: Following up on the successful security operation carried out in the city of Muadamiyat al-Sham, and as part of ongoing efforts to pursue remnants of the ISIS terrorist organization, specialized units in the Damascus Countryside Governorate, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate and in coordination with the International Coalition forces, conducted a precise security operation in the town of al-Buwaydah. This operation was based on confirmed intelligence and meticulous field surveillance.

The operation resulted in the neutralization of the terrorist Muhammad Shahada, also known as "Abu Omar Shaddad," a prominent ISIS leader in Syria who held the position of "Governor of Hauran." His position posed a direct threat to the security of the region and the safety of its inhabitants.

This operation underscores the effectiveness of joint coordination between national security agencies and international partners, and the continued proactive strikes against terrorist organizations, contributing to the strengthening of security and stability and preventing any potential threat to civil peace. The Ministry of Interior emphasizes that its forces will remain at the highest level of readiness, continuing to perform their national duty, and will not hesitate to pursue all those involved in or attempting to undermine Syria's security and sovereignty.

نقلا عن وزارة الداخلية : استكمالاً للعملية الأمنية النوعية التي نُفِّذت في مدينة معضمية الشام، وضمن الجهود المتواصلة لملاحقة فلول تنظيم عا.دش الإرها..... ، نفذت الوحدات المختصة في محافظة ريف دمشق، بالتعاون مع جهاز الاستخبارات العامة وعبر التنسيق مع قوات التحالف الدولي، عملية أمنية دقيقة في بلدة البويضة، وذلك بناءً على معلومات استخباراتية مؤكدة ورصدٍ ميداني محكم.
وقد أسفرت العملية عن تحييد الإرها...... محمد شحادة، المكنّى "أبو عمر شدّاد"، والذي يُعدّ أحد القيادات البارزة في تنظيم عا.دش في سوريا، ويشغل منصب "والي حوران"، الأمر الذي كان يشكّل خطرًا مباشرًا على أمن المنطقة وسلامة أهلها.
وتأتي هذه العملية تأكيداً على فاعلية التنسيق المشترك بين الجهات الأمنية الوطنية والشركاء الدوليين، واستمرار توجيه الضربات الاستباقية للتنظيمات الإرها..... ، بما يسهم في تعزيز الأمن والاستقرار ومنع أي تهديد محتمل للسلم الأهلي.
وتشدد وزارة الداخلية على أن أجهزتها ستبقى في أعلى درجات الجاهزية، ماضية في أداء واجبها الوطني، ولن تتهاون في ملاحقة كل من تورط أو سعى للمساس بأمن سوريا وسيادتها.
