Al-Qaeda leader al-Marqashi killed in US airstrike in Mudiyah, Abyan

Al-Qaeda leader Salem Qasim al-Marqashi and his companions were killed in a precise airstrike carried out by US aircraft in Wadi al-Naseel, Mudiyah district, Abyan governorate.

The strike followed intensive surveillance and tracking of al-Marqashi's movements. He was considered a prominent leader responsible for carrying out terrorist operations in the region.

Activists on social media questioned who is running al-Qaeda and ISIS, and why they are not present in Israel, America, Britain, and other Western countries to carry out their terrorist acts, while they conduct their attacks in the Arab and Islamic world, as if its inhabitants are infidels and atheists in their eyes. Furthermore, the extent of their intensive presence in the proud Abyan governorate raises many questions.

قتل أمير تنظيم القاعدة الإرهابي سالم قاسم المرقشي ومرافقيه في عملية جوية دقيقة نفذها الطيران الأمريكي في وادي النسيل بمديرية مودية محافظة أبين.
وتمت الضربة عقب عمليات رصد وتتبع مكثفة لتحركات المرقشي الذي يُعد أحد القيادات البارزة المسئولة عن تنفيذ عمليات إرهابية في المنطقة.
وتساءل نشطاء على منصات التواصل عمن يدير تنظيم القاعدة وداعش ولماذا لا يتواجدان في إسرائيل وأمريكا وبريطانيا وبقية الدول الغربية لتنفيذ أعمالهمٰ الإرهابية بينما ينفذان هجماتهمٰا الإرهابية في المنطقة العربية والإسلامية كأن من يسكنها كفاراً وملحدين في نظرهمٰ إضافة إلى أن أبعاد تواجدهمٰا المكثف في محافظة أبين الأبية يضع علامات إستفهام؟!
