The Washington Post reported that a drone targeted the U.S. Diplomatic Support Center near Baghdad International Airport in an attack likely carried out by Iranian-backed militias.

According to the report, six drones were launched toward the compound. Defenses shot down five, while the sixth struck a guard tower, prompting personnel inside the facility to take emergency measures. There were no immediate reports of casualties, and the White House, the Pentagon, and the State Department have yet to issue an official statement.
