Three members of the Lebanese Army were martyred at dawn on the Lebanese border near the town of Yater in southern Lebanon, facing the brutal enemy. Among them was the martyr Major Mohammad Farhat, who had threatened nearly a year ago to open fire on the enemy army if they did not adhere to the Blue Line during the border demarcation process. He was prepared to sacrifice himself for every inch of land. This is our heroic army. Two other heroes of the army also fell with him: the martyr Private Moussa Mehanna and the martyr Private Mohammad Nazzal. May God have mercy on the martyrs of the nation, and may God protect the entire Lebanese Army throughout the land of Lebanon.

استشهاد ٣ عناصر من الجيش اللبناني فجراً على الحدود اللبنانية بلدة ياطر_الجنوب بوجه العدو الغاشم ومن بينهم الشهيد الرائد محمد فرحات الذي سبق وهدّد منذ ما يقارب السنة بإطلاق النار على جيش العدو اذا لم يلتزموا بالخط الأزرق أثناء عملية ترسيم الحدود وكان مستعدّا للتضحية بنفسه لأجل شبر من الأرض هذا هو جيشنا البطل ، كما ارتقى معه بطلين من أبطال الجيش الشهيد الجندي موسى مهنا والشهيد الجندي محمد نزال .. ألف رحمة لشهداء الوطن والله يحمي كل الجيش اللبناني ع كافة أراضي الوطن
