Shocking details emerged this morning about a horrific crime committed by the SDF militia against a civilian family in the town of Jadida Kahit, east of Raqqa.

According to confirmed reports, militia members executed an elderly woman named Fatim al-Battal, approximately seventy years old, along with Jassim Muhammad al-Laji, one of her husband's sons. The youngest son was arrested and taken to an unknown location. The reports indicate that the victims were civilians who worked in a small bakery in the village and had no prior involvement in any military or political activity.

The details reveal that the crime was not the result of a security operation or suspicion, but rather an act of collective revenge stemming from the pursuit of a third brother wanted by the militia. This brother was wanted for his previous participation, along with several other young men, in the events at the al-Karama municipality last year, following the fall of the regime, after the regime prevented celebrations of its downfall. This brother later moved to areas under the control of the Syrian government and joined the New Army. Based on this, the SDF militia fabricated charges of affiliation with ISIS against the family and informed the international coalition. The operation culminated in the cold-blooded execution of the elderly woman and one of her husband's sons.

Later, the militia handed over the victims' bodies to Sheikh Hassan al-Bureij, head of the al-Bureij tribe in the al-Karama district, a move that sparked widespread anger among the local population, who demanded accountability for those responsible and a full investigation into the circumstances of the crime.

تكشّفت فجر اليوم معطيات صادمة حول جريمة مروّعة ارتكبتها ميليشيا قسد بحق عائلة مدنية في بلدة جديدة كحيط شرق الرقة.
وبحسب المعلومات المؤكدة، أقدمت عناصر الميليشيا على إعدام امرأة مسنّة تُدعى فطيم البتال، تبلغ من العمر قرابة السبعين عامًا، إلى جانب جاسم محمد اللجي، أحد أبناء زوجها، فيما جرى اعتقال الابن الأصغر واقتياده إلى جهة مجهولة. وتشير المعطيات إلى أن الضحيتين مدنيان يعملان في مخبز صغير داخل القرية، ولم يسبق لهما الانخراط في أي نشاط عسكري أو سياسي.
وتفيد التفاصيل بأن الجريمة لم تكن نتيجة عملية أمنية أو حالة اشتباه، بل جاءت في سياق انتقام جماعي على خلفية ملاحقة شقيق ثالث مطلوب للميليشيا، بسبب مشاركته سابقًا مع عدد من الشبان في أحداث بلدية ناحية الكرامة العام الماضي، عقب سقوط النظام، على خلفية منعه الاحتفال بسقوطه. ولاحقًا، انتقل هذا الشقيق إلى مناطق سيطرة الحكومة السورية وانتسب إلى الجيش الجديد.
وعلى هذا الأساس، قامت ميليشيا قسد بتلفيق تهمة الانتماء لتنظيم الدولة بحق العائلة، وأبلغت بذلك التحالف الدولي، لتنتهي العملية بتصفية المرأة المسنّة وقتل أحد أبناء زوجها بدم بارد.
وفي وقت لاحق، سلّمت الميليشيا جثث الضحايا إلى شيخ قبيلة البريچ في ناحية الكرامة، حسن البريچ، في خطوة أثارت غضبًا واسعًا بين الأهالي، وسط مطالبات بمحاسبة المسؤولين عن الجريمة وكشف ملابساتها كاملة.
