SDF militia raids and arrests in western Deir ez-Zor countryside

Local sources reported that an SDF militia patrol carried out a raid this morning in the town of Jazrat in western Deir ez-Zor countryside, resulting in the arrest of several local residents.

According to available information, those arrested include:

Ahmed al-Saghir (Jazrat Milaj), Ahmed Ayed al-Hamid (Jazrat Milaj), Ahmed Hussein al-Zaghin (Qusaybah), Hamoud al-Zaliti (Qusaybah), Hamad Ali al-Zaliti (Qusaybah), and Hassan al-Zaliti (Qusaybah).

This campaign comes amidst an ongoing security escalation in the towns and villages of western Deir ez-Zor countryside, with increasing complaints from residents regarding arbitrary arrests and night raids targeting civilians without warrants or explanation.

أفادت مصادر محلية بأن دورية تابعة لميليشيا #قسد نفّذت، فجر اليوم، حملة مداهمات في بلدة الجزرات بريف #دير_الزور الغربي، أسفرت عن اعتقال عدد من الأشخاص من أبناء المنطقة.
وبحسب المعلومات المتوفرة، عُرف من المعتقلين:
أحمد الصغير (جزرة ميلاج)، أحمد عايد الحميد (جزرة ميلاج)، أحمد حسين الزغين (قصيبة)، حمود الزليطي (قصيبة)، حمد علي الزليطي (قصيبة)، وحسن الزليطي (قصيبة).
