#Urgent | Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani:

We condemn in the strongest terms the treacherous Israeli aggression against the town of Beit Jinn, which targeted innocent civilians.

The continuation of these attacks constitutes a serious threat to regional peace and security and necessitates a firm international stance to stop these violations.

What happened in Beit Jinn is a fully-fledged crime against our people.

Syria affirms its full right to defend its land and people by all legitimate means in accordance with international law and the UN Charter.

We call upon the United Nations, the Security Council, and the Arab and Islamic nations to assume their responsibilities regarding these repeated violations.

International silence encourages the aggressor to commit further crimes against civilians.

We extend our condolences to the families of the martyrs and pray for the speedy recovery of the wounded. The blood of the innocent in Beit Jinn will only strengthen our resolve to uphold our full rights.

نتقدم بالعزاء لأسر الشهداء ونرجو الشفاء العاجل للجرحى إن دماء الأبرياء في بيت جن ستزيد من تمسكنا بحقوقنا كاملة
