May God accept my beloved uncle, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Abdul Ghafour, his kind wife Aisha Al-Astal, and their dear children Jana, Nada, Hudhaifa, and Baraa.

My dear brother Salama, may God heal you, strengthen your heart, and grant you patience.
My cousin Aboud, may God heal you, mend your broken heart, and compensate you with good.
O God, reward us for our affliction and replace it with something better. "And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision."
With immense pride and honor, and with faith and submission to God's decree and destiny, I announce the martyrdom of my beloved brother, the devout believer, the man of Islamic knowledge and the mosques, Dr. Muhammad Ahmad Abdul Ghafour, and his generous wife Aisha Al-Astal, mother of Baraa, and four of their children:
Baraa, 18 years old, a first-year university student, and Jana. 13-year-old Hudhaifa, 11, and 7-year-old Nada.

In a criminal bombing carried out by the occupation forces at dawn today, Monday, their home was bombed without warning.

Abdul Rahman, 17, was pulled from the rubble wounded. He is the only surviving son of my martyred brother. My nephew, Salama Imad Abdul Ghafour, 17, a university student, was also wounded. Please pray for their recovery and for all the wounded.

We say only what pleases our Lord: O God, reward us for our affliction and replace it with something better. Sufficient for us is God, and He is the best Disposer of affairs.

اللهم أجرنا في مصيبتنا واخلفنا خيراً منها "وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ"..
بكل فخر واعتزاز، وإيمان وتسليم بقضاء الله وقدره، أزف استشهاد أخي الحبيب والغالي على قلبي، المؤمن الورع، رجل العلم الشرعي والمساجد، الدكتور محمد أحمد عبد الغفور، وزوجته المعطاءة عايشة الأسطل أم البراء، وأربعة من ابنائهما، وهم:
براء، ١٨ عاما طالب جامعة سنة أولى، وجنى، ١٣ عاما، وحذيفة، ١١ عاما، وندى، ٧ اعوام.
في قصف مجرم نفذته قوات الاحتلال فجر اليوم الاثنين بقصف منزلهم على رؤوسهم دون إنذار مسبق.
وجرى انتشال عبد الرحمن، ١٧ عاما جريحا، وهو الوحيد المتبقي من ابناء أخي الشهيد، وابن شقيقتي سلامة عماد عبد الغفور، ١٧ عاما جريحا، وهو طالب جامعي دعواتكم لهما ولكل الجرحى بالشفاء.
ولا نقول إلاّ ما يرضي ربنا، اللهم أجرنا في مصيبتنا واخلفنا خيرا منها. وحسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
