On this day, May 31, 2024, my dear sister, the martyred journalist Ala Abdul Wahab Al Dahdouh, ascended to be with her Lord, after being targeted by the brutal Zionist bombing.
A year has passed since your departure, Ala, but your voice still echoes in my memory, and your image never leaves my heart. You were my sister, my companion, and my pride. Today, I stand helpless before the pain of your absence, but with my head held high because you were martyred while you were free and honorable, fulfilling your duty until your last breath.
Rest in peace, Alaa, your memory will live on, your legacy will live on, and your message will never die.

﴿ وَلَا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ ﴾

في مثل هذا اليوم، ٣١ مايو 2024، ارتقت أختي الغالية، الإعلامية الشهيدة علا عبد الوهاب الدحدوح، إلى جوار ربها، بعد أن طالها القصف الصهيوني الغاشم
مضى عامٌ على فراقك يا علا، لكن صوتك لا يزال يصدح في ذاكرتي، وصورتك لا تفارق قلبي. كنتِ أختي، ورفيقتي، وفخري… وها أنا اليوم أقف عاجزًا أمام وجع الغياب، لكن مرفوع الرأس لأنك استشهدتِ وأنت حرة، شريفة، تؤدين واجبك حتى الرمق الأخير.
نمِي بسلام يا علا، فذكراك باقية، وسيرتك خالدة، ورسالتك لن تموت.
