Images from the preparations for the airborne operation carried out by US forces in the town of Atmeh in northern Idlib province.

The operation targeted a leader in the ISIS terrorist group.

According to initial reports, women who were with him, believed to be his wives, were arrested.

A Sham TV correspondent reported:
The ISIS leader, Abu Hafs al-Qurashi, believed to be the group's leader, was arrested in an airborne operation by international coalition forces targeting two houses near the electricity roundabout in the Atmeh area of northern Idlib province.

The raid was carried out by US and Iraqi forces using at least four helicopters. Syrian forces did not participate in the operation and their role was limited to blocking roads leading to the targeted houses.
Intermittent gunfire was heard in two waves during the operation. There is no information on casualties.

وسمعت أصوات إطلاق نار متقطعة على دفعتين خلال عملية الإنزال ولا معلومات عن سقوط قتلى أو جرحى
