The Syrian Jazeera region witnessed a new security escalation in recent hours, marked by a joint security operation conducted by the international coalition and Iraqi forces. Launched from within Iraqi territory, the operation targeted villages in the Tal Khamis district of Hasakah province, raising widespread questions about its nature and timing.

According to local sources, coalition aircraft, along with a large ground force, participated in the operation, which targeted the villages of Rabi'a and Iskenderun. Among those arrested was Saad Mahjoub al-Bardawil, a young man in his thirties from Iskenderun who owns a mill.
