As part of ongoing field monitoring, His Excellency the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, conducted an inspection tour of Terminal 1 at Kuwait International Airport to assess the damage caused by the Iranian attack on the terminal and to evaluate its impact on the facilities and infrastructure.
During the tour, His Excellency inspected the damage to the terminal and received a briefing from relevant officials regarding the incident and the measures taken to address it and mitigate its effects.
His Excellency emphasized the importance of completing the technical inspection and conducting a comprehensive and accurate assessment of the damage, and taking the necessary actions within their respective jurisdictions. معالي النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية يتفقد مبنى الركاب (T1) في مطار الكويت الدولي عقب تعرضه لعدوان إيراني آثم
في إطار المتابعة الميدانية المستمرة قام معالي النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية الشيخ فهد يوسف سعود الصباح بجولة تفقدية على مبنى الركاب (T1) في مطار الكويت الدولي للاطلاع على الأضرار الناجمة عن العدوان الإيراني الآثم الذي تعرض له المبنى والوقوف على آثارها وتقييم حجمها على المرافق والمنشآت.
واطّلع معاليه خلال الجولة على الأضرار التي لحقت بالمبنى، كما استمع إلى شرح من المسؤولين المختصين حول الواقعة والإجراءات المتخذة للتعامل معها واحتواء آثارها.
وأكد معاليه أهمية استكمال أعمال المعاينة الفنية وإجراء تقييم شامل ودقيق للأضرار، واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة وفق الاختصاص، مشيداً بجهود الجهات المعنية وسرعة استجابتها ومباشرتها للمهام الموكلة إليها، وما اتخذته من إجراءات لتأمين المواقع المتضررة والحفاظ على سلامة العاملين في الموقع.
