And never think that those who were killed in the cause of Allah are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision. They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

We are deeply saddened by the news of the martyrdom of our cousin, Taysir al-Bar'i, Taysir Fayez Abu al-Abd, his wife, and a large number of his family members, who were killed in a bombing that targeted an entire residential block in the al-Shama'a neighborhood yesterday.

O God, have mercy on them, forgive them, and accept them among the martyrs. By God, this man was one of the best and kindest of people. I never saw anything from him except what pleased God.

May God have mercy on you, Abu al-Abd, and may your grave be blessed.

وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُون ۝ فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُواْ بِهِم مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلاَّ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُون
نزف لأنفسنا خبر استشهاد ابن العمه تيسير البرعي تيسير فايز ابو العبد وزوجته وثله كبيره من عائلته أقر قصف تعرض له مربع سكني كامل في حي الشمعه بـ الامس .
فـ اللهم ارحمهم واغفر لهم وتقبلهم من الشهداء
والله هذا الرجل من اخير الناس .. واطيب الناس .. ما رأيت منه إلا ما يرضي الله .
