With hearts filled with sorrow, I mourn my dear friend, the martyred lawyer Mu'tasim Maher Faris, who was killed today by a treacherous bullet from the occupation army near Kissufim, east of Deir al-Balah.

We have lost a kind-hearted friend, a man of good character, a man of truth and integrity. You are gone in body, but your memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew you.

May God have mercy on you, accept you among the martyrs, and grant your family and loved ones patience and solace.

To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

فقدناك صديقاً طيب القلب، حسن الخلق، صاحب كلمة حق وموقف شريف، رحلتَ جسداً لكن ذكراك الطيبة ستبقى حاضرة في قلوب كل من عرفك.
رحمك الله رحمةً واسعة، وتقبلك في الشهداء، وألهم أهلك ومحبيك الصبر والسلوان.
