Bahrain: Worker Killed in Ship Fire After Missile Debris Falls

A fire broke out on board a foreign vessel in Bahrain's Salman Industrial City after debris from an intercepted missile fell to the ground, killing one person, according to the Bahraini Ministry of Interior.

Two other people were injured in the fire before it was brought under control and extinguished. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that a ship in a Bahraini port was struck by two unidentified projectiles, causing a fire. The UKMTO confirmed that the ship remains docked in the port.
