A source close to the family of Mohammed Deif, the commander-in-chief of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, told the Arab World News Agency (AWP) on Wednesday that Deif's brother and three other family members were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Khan Younis.

The source said that Abdel Fattah Deif (60 years old), Medhat Abdel Fattah Deif (40 years old), one of his grandsons, Baraa Medhat (two and a half years old), and the wife of one of his other sons were killed in the Israeli airstrike that targeted their three-story house in Qizan al-Najjar, Khan Younis.

وقال المصدر إن عبد الفتاح الضيف (60 عاماً)، ومدحت عبد الفتاح الضيف (40 عاماً)، وأحد أحفاده ويدعى براء مدحت (عامين ونصف العام)، وزوجة أحد أبنائه الآخرين، قتلوا إثر القصف الإسرائيلي الذي طال منزلهم المكون من 3 طوابق في قيزان النجار بخان يونس
