Abu Dhabi authorities are investigating an incident involving debris from a drone that was intercepted by air defenses and fell onto the facade of one of the Etihad Towers buildings. The incident resulted in minor injuries to a woman and her child, as well as minor property damage.

Authorities clarified that the sounds heard in the emirate were a result of the successful interception. They urged the public to refrain from spreading rumors and misinformation and to obtain information only from official sources. They confirmed that updates will be published as soon as they become available.
