Iranian drones strike Nakhchivan International Airport in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan said two people were injured after Iranian drones entered its territory via the Nakhchivan exclave.

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said the attacks on the country's civilian infrastructure "will not go unanswered," adding that retaliatory measures are being prepared to protect Azerbaijan's sovereignty, its citizens, and its vital infrastructure. The ministry also stated that Iran bears full responsibility for the attacks.

قالت أذربيجان إن شخصين أصيبا بعد أن دخلت طائرات إيرانية بدون طيار إلى أراضيها عبر جيب ناخشيفان.
قالت وزارة الدفاع الأذربيجانية إن الهجمات على البنية التحتية المدنية للبلاد "لن تمر دون رد"، مضيفةً أنه يتم إعداد تدابير رد لحماية سيادة أذربيجان ومواطنيها وبنيتها التحتية الحيوية. وذكرت الوزارة أيضًا أن إيران تتحمل المسؤولية الكاملة عن الهجمات.
