With profound sorrow and grief, I mourn the loss of my dear colleague, journalist and friend, institutional development consultant at the Press House, my beloved brother, Muhammad al-Jaja, who was martyred this morning in his home near al-Shifa Hospital, along with his wife, daughters, parents, siblings, and relatives who had sought refuge in his house. Muhammad was a paragon of ethics, professionalism, and chivalry. He was an excellent writer in English, capturing the suffering of his people for international media. During the war, he would barely finish writing before spending his days going from bakery to water station and shop to provide for the needs of those around him and his colleagues, offering aid to those affected. He refused to flee south and remained steadfast in his home until his martyrdom. Today, he was supposed to travel to France to participate in an international media conference, but little did he know that he would be traveling to Paradise, God willing, to meet God as a martyr. May God have mercy on you, Muhammad, and your family. Words cannot express my sorrow at your tragic loss.

بكل الألم والحزن أنعى الزميل الصحفي، الصديق استشاري التطوير المؤسسي في بيت الصحافة الأخ الحبيب / محمد الجاجة الذي استشهد فجر اليوم في بيته قرب مستشفى الشفاء هو وزوجته وبناته ووالديه واشقاءه وأقاربه الذين نزحوا لبيته.. لقد كان محمد نموذج الاخلاق والمهنية والشهامة، وكان خير من يكتب باللغة الإنجليزية عن معاناة شعبه للإعلام الدولي، ثم ما يكاد ان يفرغ من الكتابة حتى يقضى كل ساعات النهار خلال الحرب ساعيا بين المخابز ومحطات المياه والمحلات لتوفير احتياجات من حوله والزملاء ويقدم العون للمنكوبين، رافضا النزوح جنوبا وظل صامد في بيته حتى استشهد.. اليوم كان من المفترض أن يسافر لفرنسا للمشاركة في مؤتمر دولي حول الاعلام. الدولي ، لكنه لم يكن يعلم انه سيسافر الى الجنة ان شاء الله ليلقى الله شهيدا. رحمك الله يا محمد انت واهلك، لن تستطيع الكلمات ان تعبر عن حزني لفراقك الأليم .
