Oh, our sorrowful morning
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.
“And give good tidings to those who patiently persevere, who, when afflicted with calamity, say, ‘Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we will return.’”
With hearts at peace with God’s decree and destiny, I mourn the passing of the virtuous martyr, Hajja Afifa Dahman (Umm Muhammad), the wife of my husband’s cousin, Afifa Mohammad, and her daughter, Mirvat. May God have mercy on you and grant you Paradise. I am truly saddened by your loss.

إنّا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
“وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ”
بقلوب مطمئنة بقضاء الله وقدره أنعي الشهيدة الحاجة الفاضلة عفيفة دهمان (أم محمد) مسك الختام وزوجة ابن عم زوجي Afifa Mohammad وطفلتها ميرفت ربنا يرحمكم ويجعل مثواكم الجنة يارب، من كل قلبي زعلت عليكم والله
