In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of God are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision. (169) Rejoicing in what God has bestowed upon them of His bounty, and they receive good tidings about those [to be martyred] after them who have not yet joined them - that there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

God Almighty has spoken the truth. My Lord, I ask You to fill the hearts of the sons and daughters of the late
Nasri Misbah Khayal (Abu Hussam),
Dr. Hussam, Mr. Najati, Suha, Mona, and their families, with patience and to ease their sorrow over his martyrdom. Their dear, kind, and beloved mother, the virtuous and revered lady,
Ferial Ezz El-Din Al-Dajani (Um Hussam Khayal), and her granddaughter, Dalia Khayal,
and her grandson's wife, Lina Al-Alami (Khayal), may God have mercy on them and grant them forgiveness, peace, and tranquility in His highest Paradise.

O God, I ask You to grant patience and solace to those who loved them, to ease their profound grief and sorrow at their loss, and to make their abode the highest Paradise.

My dear Aunt Um Hussam, your martyrdom has broken my heart, and I will miss you. The eye sheds tears, and the heart grieves, and we say only what pleases our Lord. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

ولا تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُوا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَمْوَاتًا بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ (169) فَرِحِينَ بِمَا ءَاتَاهُمُ اللَّهُ من فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُوا بِهِمْ مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

اللهم إني أسألك أن تشد على قلوب من أعزهم بالصبر والسلون وأن تخفف مصابهم الجلل وحزنهم على فقدهم ، وأن تجعل مأواهم الفردوس الأعلى من الجنة.
خالتو أم حسام استشهادك وجع قلبي وراح اشتقلك
إن العين تدمع والقلب يحزن ولا نقول إلا ما يرضى ربنا، وإنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون
