The International Coalition Conducts an Airdrop Operation in the Hasakah Countryside

A Syrian human rights source reported that the International Coalition conducted an airdrop operation in the village of al-Bajdali, located in the countryside of al-Shaddadi city, south of Hasakah.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the operation, which took place at dawn on Thursday, May 16, 2025, resulted in the arrest of three individuals affiliated with ISIS. They were immediately transferred to the Coalition base in al-Shaddadi city.

This operation is part of a series of security operations carried out by the International Coalition in northern and eastern Syria, targeting individuals suspected of belonging to ISIS or involved in security activities that threaten the stability of the region.

On May 14, International Coalition forces conducted a raid in the Hasakah countryside, targeting ISIS cells. The operation resulted in the arrest of five ISIS members, who were taken to a security facility under heavy guard.

أفاد مصدر حقوقي سوري أن التحالف الدولي، نفذت عملية إنزال جوي في قرية البجدلي التابعة لريف مدينة الشدادي جنوب الحسكة.
وفق المرصد السوري لحقوق الإنسان، أسفرت العملية التي نفذت فجر اليوم الخميس 16 أيار 2025، عن اعتقال 3 من خلال تنظيم " داعش "، تم نقلهم مباشرة إلى قاعدة التحالف في مدينة الشدادي.
وتأتي هذه العملية ضمن سلسلة من العمليات الأمنية التي ينفذها التحالف الدولي في شمال وشرق سوريا، والتي تستهدف عناصر يُشتبه بانتمائهم إلى “التنظيم” أو المتورطين في أنشطة أمنية تهدد استقرار المنطقة.
وفي 14 أيار الجاري، نفذت قوات التحالف الدولي عملية دهم في ريف الحسكة، مستهدفة خلايا تنظيم "داعش"، واسفرت العملية عن اعتقال 5 من خلايا "داعش"، وتم اقتيادهم إلى جهة أمنية، وسط حراسة متشددة.
