#Palestine: 29 Martyrs and Dozens Injured... Occupation Forces Bomb School Sheltering Displaced People in Nuseirat

Media outlets reported the martyrdom of 29 Palestinians and the injury of dozens more, mostly children and women, following an Israeli airstrike last night on a UNRWA-run school sheltering displaced people in the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

They added that the bodies of the martyrs and a number of the wounded were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, while the Ministry of Health in Gaza described the incident as a massacre.

For his part, Ismail al-Thawabta, director of the Government Media Office in Gaza, said during a press conference that the death toll from this massacre is expected to rise due to the large number of serious and critical injuries.

أفادت واسائل الإعلان عن إستشهاد 29 فلسطينيا وإصابة عشرات آخرين معظمهم أطفال ونساء إثر قصف طائرات الاحتلال الإسرائيلي الليلة لمدرسة يسكنها نازحون تابعة للأونروا وسط مخيم النصيرات في وسط قطاع غزة.
وأضافت أن جثامين الشهداء وعددا من الجرحى نقلوا إلى مستشفى شهداء الأقصى في دير البلح وسط القطاع، بينما وصفت وزارة الصحة في غزة ما حدث بالمجزرة.
من جانبه، قال مدير المكتب الإعلامي الحكومي في غزة إسماعيل الثوابتة خلال مؤتمر صحفي إن من المتوقع ارتفاع عدد الشهداء في هذه المجزرة بسبب العدد الكبير للإصابات الخطيرة والحرجة.
