Palestinian Karate Player Martyred in Israeli Shelling Palestine Karate player Ayman Mahmoud Totah (25 years old) was martyred as a result of Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Eyewitnesses reported that Totah was martyred while heading to obtain food aid accompanied by a number of citizens. Totah began his career with Al-Zeitoun Sports Club and achieved many local titles under the leadership of coach Khalil Ayyad. He also participated with the Palestinian national team in the 2023 Arab Games in Algeria and gave a distinguished performance. The Secretary-General of the Karate Federation in Gaza, Muhammad Abu Bakr, mourned Totah, stressing that the game has lost a great player and an example of morality.

استشـ.ـهاد لاعب كاراتيه فلسطيني في قصـ.ـف إسرائيلياستشـ.ـهد لاعب منتخب ​فلسطين​ للكاراتيه​، أيمن محمود ​طوطح​ (25 عاماً)، إثر قصـ.ـف مدفعي إسرائيلي استهدف مدينة خانيونس جنوب قطاع غزة. وذكر شهود عيان أن طوطح استشـ.ـهد أثناء توجهه للحصول على مساعدات غذائية برفقة عدد من المواطنين.بدأ طوطح مسيرته مع نادي الزيتون الرياضي، وحقق العديد من الألقاب المحلية تحت قيادة المدرب خليل عياد. كما شارك مع منتخب فلسطين في دورة الألعاب العربية بالجزائر 2023 وقدم أداءً مميزاً.نعى أمين عام اتحاد الكاراتيه بغزة، محمد أبو بكر، طوطح مؤكداً أنّ اللّعبة فقدت لاعباً كبيراً، ومثالاً للأخلاق.
