The scenes of death, the martyrs, the cries of the displaced, and what I witnessed firsthand in the town of Al-Muaysara in Jbeil—the massacre perpetrated against the people of my hometown, Houla—broke my heart. May God have mercy on the martyrs from my town of Houla, especially my aunt, Umm Wahid Qutaish. I pray for the speedy recovery of all the wounded. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.
