In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. {And do not think that those who were killed in the cause of God are dead; rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.} I bring you the news of the martyrdom of my cousin, the elder, and his family: Basil Talal Awad Al-Najjar, his son Qais Basil Talal Al-Najjar, his wife Nuha Abu Rashid, and their daughter Saba Basil Al-Najjar, who is injured. Please pray for them. O God, have mercy on them and grant them spacious gardens in Paradise, and reward us for our loss. We say only what pleases God: "Indeed, we belong to God, and indeed, to Him we will return."
