An Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Maaysara in the Keserwan district.

Reports indicate that the target of the strike was Sheikh Mohammed Amro, the Hezbollah official responsible for Mount Lebanon and the North, who is from the town.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense announced that its personnel are currently conducting search and rescue operations and a comprehensive field survey in Maaysara, where an Israeli airstrike targeted a two-story residential building.

In an initial count, the operations, in cooperation with other emergency services, resulted in the recovery of one body and the rescue of nine injured individuals who were transported to hospitals.

Civil Defense personnel were able to extinguish the fire that broke out next to the targeted building. Search and rescue operations and a comprehensive field survey will continue in an effort to locate all those missing, estimated to number 13.

وأفادت المعلومات أن المستهدف في الغارة هو الشيخ محمد عمرو مسؤول جبل لبنان والشمال في "الحزب" وهو من البلدة.
وأعلنت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني أن عناصر الجهاز تنفذ في هذه الأثناء عمليات البحث والإنقاذ والمسح الميداني الشامل في المعيصرة حيث استهدفت غارة إسرائيلية قبل قليل مبنى سكني مؤلف من طابقين.
وفي حصيلة أولية أسفرت العمليات بالتعاون مع جهات إسعافية أخرى عن إنتشال جثمان قتيل وإنقاذ 9 جرحى تم نقلهم الى المستشفيات.
وقد تمكن عناصر الدفاع المدني من إخماد النيران التي اندلعت بجانب المبنى المستهدف. وستستمر عمليات البحث والإنقاذ والمسح الميداني الشامل في محاولة للعثور على كافة المفقودين والذين يقدر عددهم بـ13 مواطنًا.
