I received pleas a short while ago from Gaza. Families are trapped at the Abbas intersection and are being subjected to heavy gunfire and shelling, with Israeli vehicles present. We spoke with the Civil Defense to try to rescue them, but they are unable to do this because of the possibility of being directly targeted by Israeli shelling. Please convey the pleas and cries for help to the Red Cross as soon as possible to secure the families' exit. There are martyrs and wounded in the streets.

وصلتني مناشدات قبل قليل من غزة، عائلات محاصرة عند مفترق العباس وتتعرض لإطلاق نار كثيف وقصف مع تواجد للآليات الإسرائيلية، وتحدثنا مع الدفاع المدني لمحاولة إنقاذهم لكن يعجز عن هذه المهمة بسبب إمكانية تعرضه للقصف الإسرائيلي المباشر، يرجى إيصال المناشدات والاستغاثات للصليب الأحمر بأسرع وقت ممكن لتأمين خروج العائلات، هناك شهداء ومصابين في الشوارع.
