Praise be to God. A few days ago, I lost my dear aunts and their children. Today, I offer my condolences to myself and my patient, resigned mother, who accepts God's will. I mourn the martyrdom of my beloved aunt, the light of my heart, Mona Al-Sheikh Khalil, her husband Ayman Abu Shamala, and their children Samir, Yamen, Abdul Rahman, and Mira. Because we were born in a land where sorrow is our destiny, and we were born from the womb of suffering, our only solace is that we were not among the victorious ones with them. Paradise is our meeting place, my beloved ones. The loss is truly immense. To God we belong, and to Him we shall return.

بحمد الله قبل أيام فقدتُ عمّاتي الغاليات وأبناءهم
واليوم أُعزّي نفسي و أمي الصابرة المحتسبة والراضية بقضاء الله..

ولأننا خُلقنا في وطن كُتب لنا فيه الأحزان وقد وِلدنا من رحم المعاناة ،فعزاءنا أننا لم نكن من الفائزين معهم
فالجنة الملتقى حبايب قلبي ،المصابُ جلل واللهِ
وإنا لله وانا اليه راجعون
