On the anniversary of the martyrdom of my daughter, the light of my heart, and the martyrdom of my mother, father, and brother's wife, I find no words, nor can I even express the depth of my sorrow. I am but one of thousands of grieving mothers who have lost their beloved children and loved ones. All I can do is praise God and pray that He grants patience to my heart and to the hearts of all who have lost their loved ones, that He relieves our distress, and that He compensates us in a way that will amaze the angels of heaven and earth.

وما عساني إلا أن أحمد الله وأدعوه أن يفرغ صبرا على قلبي وعلى قلوب جميع من فقدوا أحبتهم وأن يفرج كربنا ويعوضنا عوضا تتعجب له ملائكة السماء والأرض
