God Almighty says: “And never think that those who have been killed in the cause of God are dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision.” With profound sorrow and grief, we received the news of the martyrdom of my nephew, the journalist Muhammad Fayez Abu Matar, and my niece, Dr. Sireen Muhammad Al-Attar, as a result of the indiscriminate and barbaric bombing of the Gaza Strip. We ask God Almighty to accept them among the martyrs and the righteous, and what excellent companions they are!

To God we belong, and to Him we shall return. Condolences will be received for one day only, tomorrow, Thursday, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at the family home in Jifna, near the mosque.
