The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate mourns the wife of journalist Sameh Murad, who was killed today in a missile strike by Israeli warplanes targeting displaced people fleeing Gaza City towards Khan Younis. Other members of his family were also injured in the attack. Our colleague Sameh remained in Gaza, covering the aggression at Al-Shifa Hospital, and received the news of his wife's death while reporting. The Syndicate extends its deepest condolences to Sameh Murad and condemns this heinous crime, which is part of a policy of ethnic cleansing and a war of total annihilation against the Palestinian people in Gaza.

Journalist Murad is a freelance journalist who recently worked with Al-Arabiya channel during the aggression against Gaza.

نقابة الصحفيين تنعى زوجة الزميل الصحفي سامح مراد التي استشهدت اليوم خلال قصف بالصواريخ من طائرات الاحتلال استهدف النازحين الذين خرجوا من مدينة غزه تجاه مدينة خانيونس
وكما أصيب خلال القصف باقي افراد اسرته بجراح
هذا ولم يغادر زميلنا سامح غزه وبقي في عمله لتغطية أحداث العدوان بمستشفى الشفاء وتلقى خبر استشهاد زوجته خلال تغطيته الصحفية
وتتقدم النقابة للزميل سامح مراد باحر التعازي مستنكرة هذه الجريمة البشعة التي تأتي في اطار سياسة التطهير العرقي وحرب الابادة الشاملة ضد شعبنا الفلسطيني في غزه
