The International Coalition carries out an airdrop and kills a Daesh leader in Hama
Hama Countryside – Last night, International Coalition forces carried out an airdrop in the village of Al-Jarijsa in the southern Hama countryside, resulting in the death of Daesh leader Abdul Rahman Al-Halabi, also known as Omar Abdul Qader Bassam.
An informed source reported that Al-Halabi served as the organization's head of operations and external security, in addition to supervising the so-called "remote provinces." He was also behind the planning and execution of a number of terrorist operations, including the 2013 bombing of the Iranian embassy in Lebanon, which killed 23 people and injured more than 160 others, as well as attempted attacks in Europe and the United States.
Another source added that Halabi had recently been leading a campaign against the Druze in Sweida with gangs affiliated with the transitional government.

التحالف الدولي ينفذ إنزالاً جوياً ويقـ.ـ ـ.ـتل قيـ.ــ.ـادياً بـ.ـد1عـ.ـش في حماة
ريف حماة – نفّذت قوات التحالف الدولي ليلة أمس إنزالاً جوياً في قرية الجريجسة بريف حماة الجنوبي، أسفر عن مقـ.ـتل القـ.ـيادي في تنـ.ـظـ.ـيم د1عـ.ـش عبد الرحمن الحلبي، المعروف أيضاً باسم عمر عبد القادر بسام.
وأفاد مصدر مطلع أن الحلبي كان يشغل منصب مسؤول العمليات والأمن الخارجي في التـ.ـنـ.ـظيم، بالإضافة إلى الإشراف على ما يسمى "الولايات البعيدة". كما كان وراء التخطـ.ـيط وتنفـ.ـيذ عدد من العـ.ـملـ.ـيات الإرهـ.ــ.ـابـ.ـية، منها تفـ.ـجيـ.ـر السفارة الإيرانية في لبنان عام 2013، والذي أسفر عن مقـ.ـتـ.ـل 23 شخصاً وإصابة أكثر من 160 آخرين، فضلاً عن محاولات تنـ.ـفيذ هجـ.ـمات في أوروبا والولايات المتحدة.
وأضاف مصدر آخر أن الحلبي كان مؤخراً يقود حملة على الدروز في السويداء مع عصـ.ــ.ـابـ.ـات تابعة للحكومة الانتقالية.
