Khaled... and the martyr Khaled is in Paradise. My father relied on him a lot when my brothers were young. He married their daughter and became like a son to them. We lived in the orchard, and my father couldn't do without him. My father never learned to drive, but he loved sitting in the front seat while Khaled took him wherever he wanted. He helped him manage the work in the orchard and the farm. He loved us, and we loved him for his kindness, generosity, and affection. Jihan and Khaled were the lifeblood of the orchard when they lived there. We spent indescribable days and nights there. I will never forget this day. Before we returned to Gaza after spending the weekend there, Khaled and my brother Mahmoud had a water fight. My mother was caught in the middle and drowned. How wonderful you were, and how beautiful your memories are! This is just a glimpse of what we lost. Today is your birthday in Paradise with those you loved and who loved you, celebrating together.
And tomorrow we will celebrate the birthday of another dear one. Everyone in the photos was martyred between November 21st and 23rd.

خالد ...والشهيد خالد في الجنة. اعتمد عليه والدي كثيرا حينما كان اخواني صغارا. تزوج ابنتهم فأصبح ابنهم، سكنا في البيارة وأصبح ابي لا يستغني عنه. ابي لم يتعلم قيادة السيارة ابدا .. ولكنه احب ان يجلس في الإمام وخالد ياخذه حيث يشاء. أدار معه العمل في البيارة، وفي الزراعة. احبنا واحببناه لطيبته وكرمه ومودته. جيهان وخالد عمرا بيت البيارة وقتما اقاما هناك ، قضينا ايام وأيام وليال لا توصف. هذا اليوم لن انساه ابدا، قبل عودتنا الى غزة بعد قضاء عطلة نهاية الأسبوع هناك، دارت بين خالد ومحمود اخي حرب المياه. امي علقت بينهما بالصدفة وغرقت هي ايضا بالمياه. ما اجملكم وما أجمل ذكرياتكم! هي لمحة بسيطة عما فقدناه. عيد ميلادك اليوم في الجنة مع من احببتهم واحبوك تحتفلون سويا
