With broken hearts, we bid farewell today to our beloved Dr. Marwan Sultan, a cardiology consultant and director of the Indonesian Hospital, who was martyred along with his family in a treacherous bombing that showed no mercy for doctors.
I worked alongside Abu Omar in the cardiac catheterization department at Al-Shifa Medical Complex. He was an unforgettable brother, friend, and companion. A great doctor, with a heart greater than all the pain the intensive care unit contained.
May God have mercy on you, Abu Omar.
May God have mercy on your wife and pure children.
May He forgive you and accept you into the highest ranks with the martyrs and the righteous.
To God we belong and to Him we shall return.

بقلوب مكلومة نودّع اليوم الحبيب الدكتور: مروان السلطان استشاري أمراض القلب ومدير المستشفى الإندونيسي، الذي ارتقى شهيداً مع أفراد عائلته في قصفٍ غادر لم يَرحم قلوب الأطباء.
عملتُ إلى جانب أبو عمر في قسم قسطرة القلب بمجمع الشفاء الطبي، فكان أخًا وصديقًا ورفيق دربٍ لا يُنسى. طبيبًا عظيمًا، وقلبًا أكبر من كل ما احتوته غرف العناية من أوجاع.
رحمك الله يا أبا عمر،
رحم الله زوجتك وأبناءك الطاهرين
وغفر لكم وتقبّلكم في عليين مع الشهداء والصالحين.
