Miro Vaknin, 56, was killed on Saturday night in Bat Yam by an Iranian missile. He leaves behind a wife, two sons, and a daughter.During our condolence visit, we met his sister Orna—a trauma therapist at Sheba Hospital—who shared stories about Miro’s life. She described him as a man of deep kindness, always helping others, endlessly optimistic, and constantly smiling.They told us he used to stop strangers in the street just to warn them if their shoelace was untied—worried they might trip and fall.Orna and Miro were not only close in age but also deeply connected in spirit. On the night the missile hit, before any phone call arrived, Orna already felt that Miro was gone.May his memory be a blessing.
