Amal wasn't just anyone to me; she was my sister and my beloved, the one I talk about to my friends and acquaintances, and they all love her too. She memorized the Quran, was well-mannered and kind, and never wanted to share her joys without me, nor hers without me. We only loved drinking coffee together, and if she liked something, she'd bring me the same thing. She was very close to me and loved confiding in me, and I never wanted anyone to upset her. She's always in my prayers... May God grant patience to her mother, our beloved Wala'a Ra'fat. We entrust our affairs to God, the best of guardians. O God, grant us patience in her absence.
