A joint security operation between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the International Coalition took place in the village of al-Shaher in the al-Karama district, in the eastern Raqqa countryside.

The operation targeted individuals wanted on charges of belonging to ISIS.

One person was killed and two were arrested during the operation.

Coalition helicopters participated in the operation, and their drone can still be heard in the area.
