The International Coalition, in conjunction with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), conducted a targeted airdrop operation in the al-Karama area of eastern Raqqa countryside at midnight between Wednesday and Thursday, amid heightened security and helicopter activity in the area.

The operation resulted in the arrest of an ISIS weapons transport official, following close surveillance of his movements over the past few days.

نفّذت قوات "التحالف الدولي" بمشاركة قوات سوريا الديمقراطية، عملية إنزال جوي نوعية في منطقة الكرامة الواقعة في الريف الشرقي للرقة، في منتصف ليل الأربعاء ـ الخميس، وسط استنفار أمني مكثف وتحليق للطيران المروحي في سماء المنطقة.
وأسفرت العملية عن اعتقال مسؤول نقل الأسلحة في صفوف تنظيم "الدولة الإسلامية"، وذلك عقب مراقبة دقيقة لتحركاته خلال الأيام الماضية.
