I knew him for a year as an energetic man who spared no effort to restore the hospital after it was bombed and put out of service. This was accomplished with the help of the dedicated health workers in this blessed land... Systematic killing and criminality without accountability or oversight. The house he was sheltering was targeted, killing him, his wife, and several of his children...
