He continued: “One of the incidents that occurred in the first moments of the Second War was the bombing of the Leader’s residence, which unfortunately led to the martyrdom of the Leader, personnel, staff members, and some residents of that area. Even our Pasteur Institute was damaged. That day, at one of the hospitals, our colleagues were on standby, as it was expected that people from the Leader’s residence, including the martyred Leader himself and members of the Office of the Leader, would be brought there. That day, sometime between 11:00 and 13:00, we were told that a high-ranking figure from the residence would be brought in. The hospital’s medical staff assumed it was the Leader. They were both happy that the Leader was alive and anxious, because treating and supervising the Leader’s care in those moments was no easy task. Then we realized that the Leader had attained martyrdom and that they were going to bring Agha Mojtaba.”

The head of the Health Ministry’s Public Relations and Information Center noted: “Agha Mojtaba had not yet become Leader at that time. Around 13:00, he entered the operating room along with several other wounded people. Rumors had still not spread about what had happened, and there was no particular sensitivity around him at that moment; the sensitivity was mostly around the health condition of the martyred Leader.”

He continued: “Our assumption was that anyone caught under such a bombardment could not have an intact body. But apart from superficial wounds to the face, head, and legs, which did not result in any amputation or particular complication, nothing serious had happened. From my perspective as a physician, these were not significant injuries and did not require any special measures, except for one or two stitches, if I am not mistaken. He remained with us until around 2:00 a.m. on 10 Esfand.”

وی ادامه داد: یکی از اتفاقاتی که در اولین لحظات جنگ دوم رخ داد، بمباران بیت رهبری بود که متاسفانه منجر به شهادت رهبری، پرسنل، کارمندان و برخی از مردم آن منطقه شد و حتی انیستوپاستور ما آسیب دید. آن روز در یکی از بیمارستان‌ها، دوستان ما آماده‌باش بودند که پیش‌بینی می‌شد افراد بیت رهبری، از جمله خود رهبر شهید و خود اعضای دفتر رهبری را به آنجا بیاورند. آن روز بین ساعات یازده تا سیزده گفته شد مقامی را از بیت خواهند آورد که کادر درمان بیمارستان تصورشان این بود که رهبری هستند، هم خوشحال بودند که رهبری زنده هستند و هم دلهره داشتند چراکه رسیدگی و نظارت به رهبری کار آسانی نیست که در آن لحظات متوجه شدیم رهبری به درجه شهادت نائل شدند و قرار است آقا مجتبی را بیاورند.



رئیس مرکز روابط عمومی و اطلاع رسانی وزارت بهداشت خاطرنشان کرد: آقا مجتبی آن زمان هنوز رهبر نشده بودند، حوالی ساعت سیزده همراه چند مجروح دیگر وارد اتاق عمل شدند و هنوز هم شایعه نشده بود که چه اتفاقی افتاده است و حساسیتی هم روی ایشان آن زمان نبود، حساسیت‌ها بیشتر روی وضعیت سلامتی رهبر شهید بود.



وی ادامه داد: استنباط ما این بود که کسی که زیر چنین بمبارانی باشد نباید بدن سالمی داشته باشد، اما به جز جراحت سطحی بر صورت، سر و پاها که منجر به هیچ قطع عضو و ناراحتی خاصی نشده بود، اتفاق خاصی نیفتاده بود و از دید منِ پزشک جزو مجروحیت‌های مهمی تلقی نمی‌شد و نیاز به اقدامات خاصی نداشت، جز یک الی دو بخیه که به ایشان زده شد اگر اشتباه نکنم تا ساعت ۲ بامداد دهم اسفند هم ایشان مهمان ما بودند.
