Martyr Hooman Ghiathvand was among the martyrs of Malayer in the 12-Day War. Martyr Hooman Ghiathvand was present in the war as a paramedic at the Vali Asr Hospital of the National Security Forces and was martyred. According to the Hamedan Province Broadcasting Agency, Martyr Hooman Ghiathvand is one of the 18 national health martyrs who were martyred in the 12-Day Sacred Defense and in the attacks of the Zionist regime.
He was born in Malayer in 1977 and after being accepted to the Medical High School, he went to Tehran. After receiving his Medical Diploma, he was able to get a scholarship and receive his Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Martyr Ghiathvand married in 1400, and Horam is the only memory of this martyr.

شهید هومن غیاثوند از جمله شهدای ملایر در جنگ ۱۲ روزه شهید هومن غیاثوند به عنوان بهیار بیمارستان ولی عصر نیروی انتظامی در این جنگ حضور داشت و به شهادت رسید. به گزارش  خبرگزاری صدا و سیما استان همدان، شهید هومن غیاثوند یکی از ۱۸ شهید سلامت کشور است که در دفاع مقدس ۱۲ روزه و در حملات رژیم صهیونی به شهادت رسید.
وی متولد سال ۷۷ در ملایر بود و پس از پذیرفته شدن در دبیرستان بهیاری راهی تهران شد و پس از گرفتن دیپلم بهیاری توانست بورسیه شود و لیسانس پرستاری خود را  دریافت کند.
شهید غیاثوند سال ۱۴۰۰ ازدواج کرد و هورام تنها یادگار این شهید است.
